Modeling, analysis, and integration of solar energy in territories

I am a CNRS researcher (Chargé de Recherche) at LOCIE. My current research topics include solar energy in territories, whether urban or rural, irradiance modeling in complex environments, photovoltaic performance in its environment, physically informed data analysis, decision-aiding, remote imagery, and their use for solar applications.

Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches

The 11th of June 2026, I defended my Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches entitled Modeling, analysis and integration of solar energy in territories. The full manuscript is available on hal, and the oral defense slides are available on demand.

Start of the ANR JCJC- DOLMEN project - Data-driven sOLar Massive deployment in European Nations

The DOLMEN project aims to accelerate the energy transition through the development of a scalable, data-driven approach for the deployment of rooftop photovoltaic (RPV) systems at large scale. Rooftop PV systems significantly contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, but effective deployment requires precise mapping of existing installations and identification of suitable new locations. DOLMEN addresses these needs by combining physical modeling and advanced data-driven methods to systematically map existing and potential PV installations.
